Lemonade Stand

It was so hot this summer, a lemonade stand sounded like a good idea!

We enjoyed putting together this darling little stand

with cookies, 

 lemonade,

 and the best yellow cupcakes with lemon buttercream icing!

Oh my!  Those cupcakes were yummy!

I made plain old buttercream with butter, powdered sugar and cream, whipped it really well and then added a scoop of the lemonade drink mix . . . it tasted so scrumptious!
