Yes. These are my kids . . .

So . . . I'm the Mom who's kid comes home with a school picture in which she is wearing someone elses glasses!

She doesn't even wear glasses.

Me.  "You are hilarious!"

Me.  "So, Amanda . . . Where are your school pictures?"

Amanda.  "I told Nila (the school secretary) I didn't want pictures."

Yes.  These are my kids!

Pioneer Children

This weekend the girls and I followed a photography group out to an old homestead.  The 1/2 mile hike in to this beautiful valley was so fabulous!  We couldn't have asked for a better day . . . 70 degrees with a touch of snow on the ground.

The girls put on their prairie clothes and modeled.  Here are a few photos.  (I say few . . . there were several of us and each one of us shot hundreds!)  These particular photos were taken by a local Photography artist in town.  He does a great job!

I love this red door!

I spotted this red door in an alley the other day (~ok a couple of weeks ago!)  I know! . . . I was thinking the same thing, "What is it doing in the alley???"!

Isn't it a fabulous background for photos????

A photographer could really have fun with this!

Can you see the NoParking sign and metal lock???  I tried to have the girls hide them . . . oh well that's what photo shop if for, right?

Our little ham!  The one, who unlike all the rest of the girls, will dive to put her face in the bath water and gasp and laugh and do it again  . .  and again . . and ~ you get the idea.  :-)
